Carlos Trevino is a hispanic male inmate on death row in the state of Texas. He was born on 01/28/1974 and convicted in Bexar County and sentenced to death on 08/06/1997 . The crime occurred on 06/10/1996.

Update: He has a pending execution date of March  11, 2020.  This has been changed to 06/03/2020.

Crime

Trevino was 21, belonged to the Pisteleros street gang and had been released from prison a month earlier after an auto theft conviction when Linda Salinas was raped and fatally stabbed at a San Antonio park. Three others were convicted in her slaying, but only Trevino received a death sentence.
