David Barnett is an inmate on death row in the state of Missouri.. Previously sentenced to death, but the sentence was overturned by a judge in 2015 Crime Barnett was waiting for his grandparents when they returned home around 1:00 p.m. He confronted his grandmother and pushed her down in the hallway. He then pushed his grandfather to the floor and grabbed a knife that was lying on the nearby kitchen table. As his grandfather rose from the floor, Barnett kicked him in the head, and when he fell to the floor again, Barnett stabbed him repeatedly in the neck area. All told, Barnett inflicted ten stab wounds and numerous cuts to his grandfather’s neck, face, and hands. Satisfied that he had killed his grandfather, Barnett returned to the kitchen to get another knife and then began stabbing his grandmother in her neck as well. I've corresponded with Craven for a couple of years now, and I try to be as realistic as possible about what I think about him. He has always been incredibly kind, caring and open when we are talking. He has sent me gifts, poems, art, and many cards. I was surprised when he actually had painted pictures of my guinea pigs and written a poem about them too. It wasn't what I expected from a person on death row. But, I'm very well aware of what crime he has committed, and I realize that the way he acts towards me isn't the way he's been acting towards authority or men. He himself has admitted that he'd probably get in serious trouble if he got out on the streets again, and I trust him.
ReplyDeleteHe has always been honest with me, even if it about stuff that's not good at all. And that is a good thing I believe.
He was my first penpal, and it was when I saw a guy who often attacked staff and was so incredibly dangerous towards everyone get fewer and fewer incident-reports. And now I haven't seen one for very long.
So I'd say that he's kind if you're the type of person that he find "annoying" then you're going to meet a nice person.
But there is a big risk that you're a person that annoys him, and I believe that he'd kill if he felt that someone crossed him. Even over a minor thing.
Bonjour Dolly, je corresponds également avec Daniel Craven depuis 2021. Il a était toujours était avec moi également extrêmement gentil également mais je suis d'accord avec vous, quand on va dans son sens et que l'on est d'accord avec lui. Je n'étais absolument pas au courant des crimes qu'il a commis car il ne m'en a jamais parlé et je n'ai jamais osé lui demander, je vous avoue que ça m'a vraiment refroidit.
