On 01/03/92, Leonardo Franqui, along with codefendants Ricardo Gonzalez, Pablo San Martin, and two other associates, robbed the Kislak National Bank in North Miami, Florida. During the robbery, a cash box was taken from one of the drive-thru tellers and a security guard was shot and killed during the robbery.

Previously sentenced to death, but the sentence was overturned by a judge in 2015 Crime Barnett was waiting for his grandparents when they returned home around 1:00 p.m. He confronted his grandmother and pushed her down in the hallway.
