Refugio R. Cardenas is on death row in the state of California. In March of 2019, the state halted executions, leaving death row in the air. As someone who has seen every crime that was committed to earn this sentence, it is truly reserved for the worst of the worst, and he or she will likely serve life in prison if the death penalty is no longer an option.

    He should NOT get the death penalty. He was 18yrs old in a gang life type situation. It's so unfortunate what happened.

    Been wanting to contact this gentleman for so many years finally got my chance ..actually was my cell for quite some time in Tulare country .love that guy
