    I've known Rex for over 17 years and this man's crime is a very very tiny part of his ENTIRE life. His crime does NOT define him at all. He suffered a horrendous childhood that nobody can even begin to understand if you had not experienced it as well. I know he isn't the only person to have a bad childhood but what Rex had to endure past what you would call "bad" before he was even able to walk and talk. It advanced into such horror that MOST children would not even survive!! It made him a survivor who had to stay in survival mode just to EXIST day to day!!! Please don't judge this man if you haven't walked in his shoes and as far as that goes...I'm quite certain there's very very few people out there that would endure a small portion of the hell he lived with EACH AND EVERY DAY OF HIS YOUNG LIFE!!! That kind of abused would absolutely BREAK most human spirits but Rex refused to allow that abuse to break him down. He had a grandfather that was there for him that was a different role model. He made him feel a love that his parents NEVER did. His grandfather brought out the wonderful man Rex REALLY is and would have always been but the side of Rex that his parent brought out of him put him in the conflict within himself that he had to fight EVERYDAY of his life!!! If you are force to fight within your own self for years and years and years and years...that fight will wear you down...no matter how desperately he never want it to. Rex is not his crime and I only wish his life could have been even slightly different...I know in my heart completely...a small amount of difference would have brought about a much different outcome!!! Its devastating to KNOW how different it absofuckinglutely could've and would've been!!! What a waste of a life that would've made such a difference in this world!! Please hang in there Rex. You are the strongest man I know!! You have made me a better human being!!!

      Why wud you call me disgusting?? You don't know me at all! AND To make that type comment about Rex...are you saying you know him personally or making judgement on what the media chooses to reveal and what NOT to reveal?? If so...you, like so many others, see what they want you to see and obviously get the results they want. I see it when people can't think for themselves...they have to think what others think. That's easier. I'm sorry it has to be that way for you. Good luck...

David Barnett Missouri

David Barnett is an inmate on death row in the state of Missouri.. Previously sentenced to death, but the sentence was overturned by a judge in 2015 Crime Barnett was waiting for his grandparents when they returned home around 1:00 p.m. He confronted his grandmother and pushed her down in the hallway. He then pushed his grandfather to the floor and grabbed a knife that was lying on the nearby kitchen table.
