Crime

Windsor was sentenced to death on November 17 2006. Windsor was convicted of murder - 2 counts and theft by unlawful taking over $300. On December 28 2003 in Jefferson county Windsor beat and stabbed his wife Betty Jean Windsor and 8-year old son Corey Windsor. At the time of the murders there was a valid domestic violence order in effect which ordered Shawn Windsor to remain at least 500 feet away from Betty Jean Windsor and to commit no further acts of domestic violence. After killing his wife and son he fled to Nashville Tennessee in his wife's car where he left it in a hospital parking garage. Nine months later in July of 2004 Windsor was captured in North Carolina.

    I knew Betty more than him. I knew he abused her. I was a coworker. We tried to talk to her about getting away from him. She would never admit his abuse. And she always had bruises.
    He eventually made her transfer because her coworkers treated him so bad when he came in.

David Barnett Missouri

David Barnett is an inmate on death row in the state of Missouri.. Previously sentenced to death, but the sentence was overturned by a judge in 2015 Crime Barnett was waiting for his grandparents when they returned home around 1:00 p.m. He confronted his grandmother and pushed her down in the hallway. He then pushed his grandfather to the floor and grabbed a knife that was lying on the nearby kitchen table. As his grandfather rose from the floor, Barnett kicked him in the head, and when he fell to the floor again, Barnett stabbed him repeatedly in the neck area.
