James Jones Tennessee


James Jones is an inmate on death row in the state of Tennessee. He was born 10/15/1950.
Update: He has been re-sentenced to life.
Stay granted by Tennessee Supreme Court on December 11, 2019 to determine whether Attorney General has standing to appeal August 30, 2019 trial court acceptance of plea agreement resentencing Abdur’Rahman to life in prison on August 30, 2019.

Crime

James Jones, also known as Abu-Ali Abdur'Rahman, was convicted for his part in a 1986 raid on a drug dealer's house i
n Nashville. He stormed inside with his friend DeValle Miller. The residents were bound with duct tape. Patrick Daniels lay dead afterward with multiple stab wounds. His girlfriend, Norma Jean Norman, survived, even though one of her attackers left a butcher knife in her back. Her two young daughters had huddled in a back bedroom until the attack was over.

Troy Kell Utah

Troy Kell is an inmate on death row in the state of Utah.He is infamous because HBO made a documentary about his murder called American Gladiator. He was in prison for life on a previous murder where he killed a man who had alleged molested a friend of his (dysfunctional white knighting) when he and others killed an inmate who was black.
