He battered me and was convicted in Los Angeles in June 1985. He's a monster. I can't believe Oregon has allowed him to live so long after the brutal murder he committed on this young woman and mother ( as I was too) in Portland. He is a monster. He basically held me hostage for 2 months until he was finally arrested in June 1985 for ADL with intent to kill on me in Los Angeles. I still have a police record of this battery on me. I also received a thank you letter from City of Los Angeles District attorney office for his conviction and aid for domestic violence victims.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you had that happen to you. Sounds like you got help and moved away from unhealthy relationships. Oregon has not executed anyone in a long time and California just did away with the death penalty, so there are many wanting justice that will likely never see it. If they want to do away with that's fine, don't sentence anyone new to death, but don't rob those that were promised that sentence. That's the only fair way to do it.
