Williams broke into a woman's house and stole her credit cards. Fearing discovery, he returned the next day and returned the cards, but then raped and killed her.

Bob Russell Williams, Jr., pleaded guilty to one count of murder He admitted the special circumstances of committing the murder in the course of a rape and of a burglary but did not admit to the charged sodomy special circumstance. He also pleaded guilty to five counts of burglary and one count of attempted escape. At the penalty phase, the jury fixed the penalty for the murder at death. The trial court denied defendant's motion to modify the death verdict and sentenced defendant to death.

David Barnett Missouri

David Barnett is an inmate on death row in the state of Missouri.. Previously sentenced to death, but the sentence was overturned by a judge in 2015 Crime Barnett was waiting for his grandparents when they returned home around 1:00 p.m. He confronted his grandmother and pushed her down in the hallway. He then pushed his grandfather to the floor and grabbed a knife that was lying on the nearby kitchen table. As his grandfather rose from the floor, Barnett kicked him in the head, and when he fell to the floor again, Barnett stabbed him repeatedly in the neck area.
