Wozniak, a former community theater actor, killed two friends to steal money for his upcoming wedding, ambushing one, Samuel ("Sam") Herr at a military training ground, and luring the other friend, Juri "Julie" Kibuishi to the deceased man's apartment to shoot her there.

His fiance, Rachel Buffett, was also convicted, but not of the murders. She was convicted of lying to police. Some people believe she was involved, but that could not be proven. She was sentenced to the greatest sentence possible.

Previously sentenced to death, but the sentence was overturned by a judge in 2015 Crime Barnett was waiting for his grandparents when they returned home around 1:00 p.m. He confronted his grandmother and pushed her down in the hallway.
